Remote Monitoring & Backup
Concerned about the integrity of your data and documents? Our servers are backed up to tape every
evening and tapes removed from the site once per week. We can support remote backup of your important
files in several ways:
- Map a Windows file share to your computers over the Internet. You can copy files to our disks
whenever you need to as often as you like. This also means you can share these files with others at
different locations or use them yourself when you are at home or on the road.
- Set up an automatic nightly backup of all important files. Our very high-speed connections make
this painless and we will help with the setup.
Of course the two approaches can be combined so you can do a nightly backup and then copy single files
during the day as you work on them.
We can also help with remote monitoring of your systems. We currently monitor about 50 systems scattered
all over the country and can respond to problems quickly, often before the system owners know there is a
problem.
