Kathy has been part of the HSI team since 2001, where she started as an office manager.
After only a few months her boss decided she should take web development classes.
After that, she quickly climbed the company ladder.

When people ask what program she uses to make web sites, her answer is simply "notepad." She is a rare
HTML coder, and because of that her web sites look better and perform better than the
"cookie cutter" web sites out there. If your web site designer doesn't know HTML, then they
shouldn't be designing your web site. Would you want the chef at your favorite restaurant
defrosting frozen food because he doesn't actually know how to cook?
Kathy's main focus is to produce simple, clean, effective sites that look professional,
carry the message, load quickly, and are easy to use. She takes pride in being able to create
sites that are just right for each individual company, whatever the type of business. Whether
it's for a machinery dealer, pizza shop, piano teacher, professional association or a florist,
she can make a web site that is perfect for the company and their industry.
Between Kathy's design skills and Steve's programming skills, they make a team that can create a
solution for any business need.
Kathy has an AAS in New Media Technology and a Web Development Certificate from County College
of Morris where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She's taken courses in web design, graphics,
animation, video, media aesthetics, marketing, accounting and business management. She's
currently pursuing a BSBA in Marketing.
