CDMS Pricing, Support & Installation

Prices shown below include all CDMS software and the THEOS operating system.

System Purchase

The price shown includes the first six months of support/subscription service. Additional annual support/subscription service prices are shown under the "Support" column. Training time (where included) is shown in the "Training" column. In all cases, actual travel and living expenses are for installation/training are billed separately.

Installation Service

In all cases, we recommend installation on the computer system prior to any on-site visit for training. We will install all optional hardware components and all software into your computer at no charge except for return shipping, which is billed at actual cost.

CDMS Installation & Training

Proper installation and training is essential to the success of any computer software system. We at Halliburton Systems Inc recognize the importantence of these functions.

Installation
If you purchase your computer hardware from Halliburton Systems Inc, we will install the software on your new computer system before we ship it to you.

If you purchase computer hardware elsewhere, or already have the proper hardware, we will suggest having us install the software prior to any training. We will install all hardware and software components purchased from us at no cost; all you pay is the shipping both ways. We feel that this service avoids many of the frustrating problems that often arise during "user-installed" software.

Training
On-site training is included in the purchase price of systems with four or more users. The length of training time varies from three to five days, depending on the number of users. Although our on-site training is optional for smaller systems, we feel strongly that it is necessary to the successful use of any computer system. The cost is $600 per day plus expenses (airfare, hotel, tec.) The training will be done by someone who is completely familiar with the software and used equipent business. We send our best programmers and support staff to do training.

Training can be arranged after the initial installation, also. Many of our users requests a day or two of "refresher" training each year to make sure they are still making the best possible use of their investment in the computer system.

CDMS Support & Subscription

All CDMS support and subscription services are included in our annual support package for purchased systems.

  • ALL the telephone help you need, when you need it
  • Faxed application notes and hints, when you need them
  • Exclusive "peek" technology that lets us see what you see
  • Backup tape exchange/verification service

Subscription

CDMS is a dynamic system, constantly undergoing changes to keep pace with the used equipment industry's needs.

Included in your subscription package is:

  • All new CDMS software as it is available, typically twice a year
  • Automatic updating of all area code changes, when they happen
